Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive repair and maintenance including Tire Services, Oil Changes, MPIs, Wheel Alignments; ensure safety, service work orders, inventory parts handling, training to ASE G1/A4/A5, BATS, TPMS; requires ASE certifications, state inspection license, and a valid driver's license. Standard management week is 5 days, 40 hours; reports to Service Manager; duties include safety compliance, customer service, and adherence to VIP processes and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
- Become Licensed State Vehicle Inspector
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations
- Effective explain vehicle information to customers, present and respond to questions from coworkers
- Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems
- Interpret, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
