Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive tire services, oil changes, under-hood services, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship. Duties include initiating and following Service Work Orders, completing MPIs, procuring needed parts, returning unused parts, and upholding VIP quality standards. Requires ASE-related certifications, state inspection license, and continuous training; emphasizes safety, customer communication, team collaboration, and adherence to environmental and regulatory requirements. The role is based in Bangor, ME, with an in-person work arrangement; standard schedule is a 5-day workweek at 40 hours and non-exempt hourly compensation.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
