Job Summary
Conduct professional installations of cinema projectors, audio systems, digital signage, and control systems including QSYS and Crestron. Perform pre-installation site surveys, stage equipment, and execute post-installation testing and commissioning. Safely work at heights using scaffolding and lifts while testing electronic assemblies with oscilloscopes and automated test equipment. Resolve firmware configuration issues, document daily activities, and complete customer training with handover documentation. Requires 75%+ domestic and potentially international travel, weekend availability, and on-call support. Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years' hands-on experience in AV installations

- Must be comfortable working at heights using scaffolding, ladders, and lifts
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Must be able to sit, stand, climb, push, pull, bend, and kneel for extended periods

- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of MS Office, Windows operating systems, and basic networking

- Flexible and adaptable to unfamiliar sites and situations
- Physically fit for demanding fieldwork in various environments
- Comfortable working in a high-stress, face-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to successfully interface with a wide range of personnel within the organization

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Experience with Q-SYS platforms and other AV control systems
- Experience with digital cinema equipment
