Job Summary
Installation Technician in Somersworth, NH performs automotive repair and maintenance services including Tire Services, Oil Changes, Under hood Services, MPIs, Wheel Alignments, and Preventive Maintenance. Role requires safe operation, adherence to VIP quality standards, completion of required training and certifications (ASE G1/A4/A5, state inspection where applicable), ability to diagnose basic automotive problems, and effective communication with customers. Responsibilities include managing Service Work Orders, obtaining parts through the Desk Team, maintaining safety, aiding in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process, and ensuring shop cleanliness and equipment maintenance. Requires a minimum of one year automotive service experience, completion (or pursuit) of a two-year college/technical program, valid driver’s license, and relevant ASE certifications; standard schedule is 5 days, ~40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
