Job Summary
Installation Technician at VIP in Shelburne, VT performs automotive tire, maintenance, and repair services (including tires, oil changes, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance), ensures Service Work Orders are initiated and displayed, completes MPIs, supports the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process, and maintains safety, quality, and compliance with VIP policies and applicable regulations. The role requires related automotive service experience, ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and state inspection/license credentials, and involves reading and interpreting technical instructions, communicating findings to customers, and maintaining a safe, clean shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
