Job Summary
Installation Technician responsibilities include providing automotive repair and maintenance services (tires, oil changes, under-hood services, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance) while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with VIP policies; must obtain required certifications (ASE G1, A4, A5; State Inspection License; Equipment Safety Certification), complete LMS training, maintain 50% productivity, and work with the Service Desk to manage parts and service orders; role emphasizes safe operation, customer engagement, and adherence to regulations and shop procedures.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
