Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for performing vehicle glass repairs, replacements, and recalibrations in Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop settings. Tasks include operating Safelite tools (e.g., True Seal, Ezi-Wire, GTS), troubleshooting diagnostic issues, safely driving company vehicles, communicating with customers, promoting Safelite services, and adhering to safety and policy standards. Requires SafeTech certification, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy objects, and flexible start times. Competitive pay from $20.25/hour with progression to $24.00/hour after training, plus benefits and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (Preferred)
- Safelite SafeTech certification required
- Valid state-issued driver’s license (required)
- Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate Safelite tools and diagnostic equipment
- Willingness to drive company vehicle and operate with safety monitoring
