Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive tire and service work including tires, oil changes, under-hood services, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance. Ensure service work orders are initiated and displayed, complete MPIs prior to service, and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process. Maintain safety, quality, and compliance with VIP processes, complete required training and certifications (ASE G1, A4, A5; state inspection; BATS), and uphold shop cleanliness and equipment maintenance. Requires knowledge of diagnostics, customer communication, and ability to explain vehicle information to customers; standard 40-hour workweek with a 5-day schedule; indoor service environment with exposure to various conditions.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
