Job Summary
Install, configure, and test networking equipment including switches, wireless access points, and related hardware. Install and terminate low-voltage cabling such as CAT6 and fiber, while also setting up electronic door access control systems with card readers and controllers. Rack, mount, and cable IT equipment, then perform replacements, upgrades, and technology refresh projects. Read floor plans and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot installation issues and ensure systems function properly. Document completed work details, maintain a professional presence at customer locations, follow safety procedures, and travel to sites as needed. This role supports K-12 school districts and municipal customers within Menlo's Professional Services team.
