Installation Technician Mechanic - Utility Trucks & Equipment

Job Summary
Install, modify, and customize equipment on a variety of specialty trucks used in utility, rail, telecom, infrastructure, forestry, and other industries. Duties include installation and removal of truck bodies and equipment, modification of wheelbases and suspensions, fabrication and installation of components, removal of fluids for EPA compliance, and following safety and factory standards. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with electrical systems, schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, welding or related skills, and owning standard mechanic tools. VoTech or military wheeled mechanic training or on-the-job experience highly desired. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am - 3:30pm with overtime as needed; benefits include healthcare, 401(k) with employer match, PTO, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Valid Driver’s license
- Mechanic / Automotive Basic Hand Tools required
- VoTech / Military Wheeled Mechanic / OJT or related training desired
