Installation Technician Mechanic - Utility Trucks & Equipment

Job Summary
Install, modify, and customize equipment on a variety of specialty trucks used in utility, rail, telecom, infrastructure, forestry, and other industries. Includes installation/removal of truck bodies and equipment, modification of wheelbases and suspensions, fabrication and installation of components, and adherence to factory standards. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, schematics/blueprints, and welding where applicable; must own mechanic’s tools and have a valid driver’s license. VoTech or military wheeled mechanic training or on-the-job experience is highly desired. Attend CTOS/factory-sponsored training; maintain shop cleanliness; ensure EPA compliance for waste fluids; perform repairs per repair orders; follow safety policies.
