Job Summary
Installation Technician in Marshfield, MA responsible for automotive tire and maintenance services including oil changes, MPIs, wheel alignments, and other under-hood tasks, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service. Requires ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5), State Inspection License, equipment safety qualifications, and ability to operate within VIP’s safety and quality standards; role includes performing and documenting services, maintaining shop organization, completing required LMS training, and achieving certification requirements. Standard work week is 5 days, ~40 hours; must pass safety protocols and participate in team meetings; role emphasizes accurate service delivery and customer communication.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
