Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive tire service, oil changes, under-hood services, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance, ensuring safety and quality per VIP processes. Must train and complete required LMS courses, achieve ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5), state inspection license, and BATS/TPMS credentials. Performs repairs and maintenance while communicating with customers, follows safety protocols, and supports daily shop operations including work orders, parts handling, and service documentation. Requires at least 1 year of related automotive experience, and typically a 2-year college/technical program or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license and ability to obtain ASE certifications are required. 40-hour work week with standard schedule; non-exempt/hourly role.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of a two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
- Becoming ASE certified and maintaining certifications as described
