Job Summary
Installation Technician position in Londonderry, NH focusing on safe, high-quality automotive repair and maintenance. Responsibilities include tire services, oil changes, under-hood services (batteries, filters, bulbs, wipers), MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance; ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and MPI is completed before service; maintain safety and loss-prevention practices; participate in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process; complete required training and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and a State Inspection License; aim for minimum 50% productivity over periods and adherence to VIP quality standards; standard schedule is 5 days and 40 hours per week; requires ASE status and a valid driver’s license; shop environment involves indoor service area with exposure to varying conditions; ability to read and interpret technical instructions and communicate vehicle information to customers.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
