Job Summary
Installation Technician responsibilities include performing automotive tire and maintenance services (tires, oil changes, under-hood services, MPIs, wheel alignments, preventive maintenance), ensuring safety and compliance, initiating and displaying Service Work Orders, completing MPIs prior to service, communicating effectively with customers, maintaining parts and tools, adhering to VIP quality standards, and achieving productive work outcomes. The role requires technical capability, training, certification, and active participation in shop processes; it is a full-time, hourly position reporting to the Service Manager, based in Lawrence, MA.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
