Job Summary
Installation Technician role in Laconia, NH responsible for automotive tire services, oil changes, under-hood maintenance, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance. Requires ability to read technical instructions, explain vehicle information to customers, diagnose basic automotive problems, interpret schedules/diagrams, and complete required safety training. Must pass safety and equipment operation training, obtain ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and a State Inspection License, and maintain ASE status. Standard schedule is 40 hours per week, non-exempt, hourly pay. Emphasis on safety, quality service, and adherence to VIP processes and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
