Job Summary
Installation Technician responsibilities include repairing and replacing automotive tires, fluids, and related components; performing Tire Services, Oil Changes, MPIs, Wheel Alignments, and Preventive Maintenance to ensure services are done correctly the first time. The role requires adhering to safety, loss prevention, and quality standards, completing Service Work Orders, obtaining parts through the Desk Team, and maintaining shop cleanliness and organization. Requires completing LMS training, safety training, obtaining ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and a State Inspection License, and maintaining ASE certification status; standard work week is 40 hours over five days. The position emphasizes safety, customer service, and compliance with VIP processes and applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
