Job Summary
Installation Technician I supports the setup, maintenance, and repair of Nexity parking technology equipment at customer locations across the U.S. This entry-level role focuses on learning installations, troubleshooting basic issues, and assisting senior technicians with larger projects. Responsibilities include installing sensors, lights, gates, signs, and cabling; performing basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance; supporting system upgrades and new site launches; using mobile apps/tablets to activate devices, complete testing, and document work; following wiring diagrams and project plans; maintaining tools and job sites; and communicating with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Trade school, associate degree, or technical certifications preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in installation, maintenance, construction, electrical, or technical support preferred
- Knowledge & Skills: Basic mechanical and technical aptitude, Strong problem-solving skills, Reliable and detail-oriented, Able to work independently and as part of a team, Good communication skills
