Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive tire services and maintenance including Tire Services, Oil Changes, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance. Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and MPI completed prior to servicing; maintain safety and adhere to VIP quality standards; obtain parts from the Desk Team and manage returns; demonstrate productivity (minimum 50% over 16 weeks) and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process; maintain shop and equipment, complete required training and ASE certifications, and perform duties in a suitable indoor service department with exposure to outdoor conditions. Requires a current driver’s license and state inspections license; position includes 40 hours/week, 5-day workweek, and hourly pay.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
