Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive tire, fluid, and under-hood services including tire services, oil changes, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance; ensure service work orders are initiated and documented, maintain safety and quality standards, participate in the 5-for-5 customer engagement process, and obtain necessary parts through the desk team. Requires ability to read and interpret technical instructions, diagnose basic automotive issues, and communicate repair information to customers. Must complete required LMS and safety trainings; become ASE certified in G1, A4, and A5, and hold a State Inspection License. Standard schedule is 5 days and 40 hours per week; work environment involves indoor shop duties with exposure to outdoor conditions and protective eyewear usage.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
