Job Summary
Install, terminate, test, and certify copper and fiber cabling; perform closet buildouts and structured cabling installation, and equipment setup. Operate fiber testing tools such as OTDR and fiber certification equipment; read blueprints/work orders; complete assigned work orders on time and within budget; travel to various job sites and work indoors/outdoors; maintain professional communication and conduct; ensure work meets codes and safety regulations. Requires 1–2 years of hands-on cabling experience, HS diploma, and a valid driver’s license; OSHA 10 and aerial lift certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Minimum 1–2 years hands-on experience installing Cat5E, Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber Optic, and coax cabling
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical documents
- Willingness to travel to various job sites and work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Preferred Certifications: OSHA 10, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift
