Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive tire and maintenance services, including tire services, oil changes, MPI/under-hood services (batteries, filters, bulbs, wipers), wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance. Must ensure safety policies are followed, manage Service Work Orders and printouts, maintain productivity targets (minimum 50% over 16 weeks), and complete required training and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) along with a State Inspection License. Requires 1 year of related automotive service experience or an associated two-year college/technical program, plus a valid driver's license and safety certifications; standard schedule is 5 days and 40 hours per week; non-exempt hourly position. The role emphasizes customer engagement, compliance with quality standards, and adherence to municipal, state, and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of related automotive service experience
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
