Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for physical installation and support of wireless and electronic communications systems, including data cabling and mounting infrastructure. Duties include site walks to determine installation requirements, recommending appropriate equipment to meet customer needs, and assisting with commissioning of communications and low voltage systems. Some regional/overnight travel with per diem is possible. Key skills include reading blueprints/diagrams, using basic hand and power tools, PPE, OSHA safety awareness, familiarity with MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel), ability to lift 50 lbs, and valid driver’s license; prior experience with data cabling (CAT5/6, coaxial, fiber) and DAS installation is a plus.
