Job Summary
Installation Technician handles automotive tire service and maintenance (tire services, oil changes, MPIs, wheel alignments, preventive maintenance), ensuring service work orders are initiated and completed, maintaining safety and quality standards, achieving productivity targets, and completing ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5), a State Inspection License, and required LMS training; role requires 40-hour work week, in-person at Concord, NH location, with a valid driver’s license and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
- Becoming a Licensed State Vehicle Inspector (state-specific requirement)
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities to diagnose and explain vehicle information to customers
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations
