Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive tire and maintenance services, including tire services, oil changes, under-hood services, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance. Upholds safety and quality standards, ensures Service Work Orders are initiated and completed, maintains parts handling protocols, and supports shop operations. Requires LMS training, safety training, and certifications; targets ASE G1, A4, and A5, and state inspection licensing; must communicate effectively with customers and participate in the 5-for-5 engagement process. Training and certification programs are part of ongoing professional development; work environment includes indoor service area with exposure to weather and chemicals; 40-hour work week with standard shift expectations.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
