Job Summary
Installation Technician at ADT responsible for evaluating customer needs, designing and installing security systems, and educating customers on usage. Responsibilities include installing and testing equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal reception, evaluating information to provide optimal solutions for the customer’s location, identifying opportunities to improve system usability, practicing safety on site, maintaining tidiness by removing debris, and performing any other duties to support the company’s mission. Requires customer-focused mindset, technical aptitude, strong verbal communication, and a valid driver’s license; High School degree or equivalent is expected, with electronic trade school training a plus. Role involves visiting customers at their homes or businesses in the Gainesville, FL area.
