Job Summary
Field Technician responsible for installing and repairing Spectrum services outdoors, educating customers on usage, and progressing through a career self-progression plan. Role involves solving technical challenges in dynamic outdoor environments, using hand tools and computers, traveling to customer sites, and building relationships with customers and teammates. Entry-level position with training provided and opportunities to advance to higher technician levels and leadership roles. Must be able to work outdoors, travel as needed, and maintain a valid driver’s license. Spectrum is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Schedule: Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Language: Fluent in English
- Technical skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications; competent in using hand tools
- Valid Driver’s license with a safe driving record within company standards
- Physical: Ability to walk over varied terrains, lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders up to 32 feet, work outdoors in varying conditions
