Job Summary
Install and repair Spectrum services for residential customers; educate customers on product usage; work outdoors in varied environments; operate hand tools and a company vehicle; participate in training and career self-progression to advance from Field Technician I to IV with incremental pay increases and potential leadership opportunities; fieldwork emphasizes problem solving, customer interaction, and building lasting relationships with colleagues and customers; strong emphasis on safety, outdoor work, and physical tasks such as lifting and climbing ladders; opportunities to obtain industry-recognized certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency with computers and software applications; competent with hand tools
- Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards
