Job Summary
Installation Technician IV responsible for structured cabling, installation of total integrated voice and data systems, networks, and wireless; performs additions/removals/changes/upgrades/maintenance to service contracts; conducts installation and maintenance of equipment; engineers new projects; coordinates power cuts with customers; manages tools and calibration; prepares method-of-procedure documents for customer approval; coordinates tasks with subordinates; ensures accuracy of installation and final paperwork; conducts QA checks; interfaces with customers and other vendors; adheres to Environmental, Health & Safety policies; travel up to 50%; requires ability to work independently and in a team; must pass drug screen and criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6 years telecommunication training and/or experience
- Must have demonstrated proficiency and profitability at the Technician III level
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
