Job Summary
Installation Technician at TrueNet Communications responsible for structured cabling, installation of total integrated voice and data systems, networks, and wireless. Duties include installations and maintenance of equipment, project engineering, coordinating with customers and vendors, staging equipment and materials, documenting procedures and final paperwork, and ensuring safety and quality through QA checks. Requires travel up to 50%, strong mechanical aptitude, proficient use of Microsoft Office, and effective communication with team and customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6 years telecommunication training and/or experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in telephony outside general installation parameters
- Ability to think critically and solve problems
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficient Windows-based computer skills
- Effective written and verbal communications
- Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and timely
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check
