Job Summary
Installation Tech IV responsible for structured cabling, installation of total integrated voice and data systems, networks, and wireless; performs installations, maintenance, and engineering of new projects; manages inventory and tools, ensures calibration, coordinated customer acceptance, and interfaces with customers and vendors. Requires 6 years telecom experience, high school diploma or GED, and strong mechanical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Travel up to 50% may be required; background check and drug screen required; environment includes exposure to chemicals, solvents, hazards; office setting with project-driven telecommunication work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 years telecommunication training and/or experience
- Demonstrated proficiency and profitability at the Technician III level
- Ability to think critically and problem solve
- Confidential/sensitive information handling
- Mechanical aptitude
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Windows-based computer proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work alone and with a team
- Drug screen and criminal background check
