Job Summary
Oversee the Installation and Order Verification Program by monitoring sub-contracted installers, developing new hires, and resolving installation disputes while negotiating and monitoring installer payouts. Conduct job-site evaluations to enforce Pella installation instructions, confirm suitability, and mediate customer concerns through direct visits to determine appropriate recovery processes. Manage installation capacity, coordinate scheduling with the Retail PC team, and maintain insurance documentation for all crews. Directly supervise non-exempt team members and independent sub-contracted crews, handling selection, training, performance evaluations, payroll reporting, and overtime scheduling. Analyze data to identify future business needs and prepare budgetary proposals for assigned cost centers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 - 10 years related experience to include supervision of a team
- Must be able to develop a high level understanding of all Pella products and their applications
- Must have problem solving abilities and the ability to think on his/her feet in order to appropriately resolve urgent service situations that arise in the general course of business
- Demonstrates open communication and the ability to maintain professionalism at all times
- Works collaboratively and creates a sense of trust and reliability with internal team and customers
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, flexible about hours, responsive to customer needs, willing to be available
- Seeks out internal experts and utilizes their knowledge
- Supports change and innovation within organization
- Focused on details and follow through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices, and ability to learn internal software programs and applications
- Pella Mid-Atlantic performs background checks and drug screens on all candidates
