Job Summary
Lead a crew of two to over 25 personnel on furniture installation, repairs, moves, and deliveries while ensuring projects meet schedule and customer expectations. Communicate daily with dispatch for assignments, review project scopes with sales, and coordinate breaks and redirections. Collaborate with safety and accounting teams to manage overhead, handle receipts, and process billable charges. Prepare reports including DVIRs, Bills of Lading, and disposal forms. Assist warehouse operations for item returns and physically support projects as needed. Requires 1-3 years in moving/installation and 3-5 years leading large projects.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lead a crew and serve as a direct report for crew sizes that range from two to over 25 people
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of word, excel, e-mail, and data base programs
- Must be able to perform all physical aspects of an Installer and Lead positions
- 1-3 years' experience in moving/installation
- 3-5 years' experience leading large projects
- Members are responsible, as a condition of hire and continued employment, for following all prescribed safety rules and procedures to prevent workplace injuries
- All members are expected to cooperate in every aspect of the company's safety program and follow safe work practices
