Job Summary
Installation Specialist (Glass) role: execute high-end glass shower door installations including frameless/semi-frameless enclosures, perform precise field measurements, and coordinate with project managers and customers. Responsibilities include opening/closing jobs with customers, performing precise installations, measuring for fabrication, delivering high-quality customer experiences, collecting milestones payments, providing daily updates via GroupMe and Zoom, coordinating with Re-Bath/Home Depot partnership, protecting the home environment, safely handling heavy glass, inspecting materials for defects, stocking installation supplies, scheduling with technicians/project managers, mentoring apprentices on site, tracking daily administrative tasks, and conducting follow-up checks for alignment. Requires proven glass installation experience, strong math and measurement skills, excellent customer service and communication, ability to work independently under deadlines, and a clean background. 18+ with professional appearance, valid driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in professional glass installation or glazing, specifically focusing on custom shower enclosures and heavy frameless glass
- Highly proficient in structural glass math, with the ability to read tape measures down to 1/16" and use laser leveling tools flawlessly
- Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills; comfortable conducting professional digital updates (Zoom, GroupMe)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to structural safety, waterproofing, and sealant execution
- Ability to work independently, manage a strict daily route timeline, and safely navigate heavy glass lifting environments
- Ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting strict installation deadlines
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a professional appearance, clean driving record, and the ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
