Installation Specialist

Job Summary
Install custom wood products, wood moldings, cabinetry, solid-surface materials, and wall panel systems on commercial construction projects. Read architectural plans, shop drawings, and field measurements to accurately field-fit, trim, scribe, level, and fasten products. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades while identifying and communicating installation concerns. Maintain clean work areas and follow all safety requirements. Travel to project locations throughout Georgia and other states within the service area, including overnight stays. Valid driver's license and ability to lift heavy materials are required. Current OSHA and First Aid certifications are a plus. Join a growing division backed by Carter Lumber's 90 years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read plans, shop drawings, and field measurements
- Working knowledge of installation tools, equipment, and fastening methods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver materials and equipment commonly used during installation
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
- Must be willing and able to travel to project locations and stay overnight as required
- Travel may include work throughout Georgia and other states within CAM's service area
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience installing commercial cabinetry, architectural millwork, wood moldings, solid-surface products, or wall panel systems
- Current OSHA and First Aid certifications
