Installation Services Technician II

Job Summary
Install and repair GFiber residential and small business services, including high-speed broadband, Wi‐Fi, and voice. Serve as the Installation Services subject matter expert, mentor technicians, and work with cross‐functional remote teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues (e.g., Remote Gateway, wireless extenders, account provisioning, WiFi signal quality). Perform installations at customer sites, climb ladders and poles, and work in spaces such as crawl spaces and attics; use hand tools, cabling, and specialty equipment (including bucket trucks) while adhering to safety standards. Provide customer education on products and services, document accurate product records, and deliver strong customer service and problem-solving to ensure a quality installation experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience installing and repairing telecommunications or cable services
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check that meets company standards
- Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs of equipment as required
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required
