Job Summary
Oversee and manage millwork and cabinet installation projects from handoff to completion across Albuquerque, NM; Santa Fe, NM; and Colorado Springs, CO. Responsibilities include reviewing plans and budgets, soliciting bids from subcontractors, coordinating site visits, leading preconstruction meetings with GC/PMs/installation teams, supervising installation activities (including hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware), tracking schedule and budget, managing scope changes and invoices, maintaining clear communication with customers and subcontractors, ensuring subcontractors meet quality standards, and supporting installation teams throughout the project. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration with multiple teams; travel 2–3 days per week. Required: high school diploma or GED with 2–5 years in project management or relevant industry experience; ability to read construction plans and shop drawings; proficiency in PM software and MS Office; valid transportation and travel readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of millwork, cabinet fabrication, and installation processes
- 2–5 years of relevant industry or project management experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college or BA/BS preferred
- Proven experience working with subcontractors and managing schedules
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and shop drawings
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel via automobile, train, or airplane
