Job Summary
Lead the layout, fitting, and installation of cabinetry and related millwork per architectural drawings for each job, supervise a crew on site, coordinate with the jobsite superintendent and project manager, submit time cards and field changes, verify installation package drawings, attend contractor meetings, and uphold safety procedures. Must be able to travel out of town frequently, work extended hours, read and interpret blueprints/architectural drawings, and operate specialty tools (miter saw, table saw, router, biscuit cutter, sander, circular saw). Strong math skills (geometry, rise/run, fractions) and effective communication with team members and clients are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years or more laying out, cutting and fitting custom prefinished or laminate clad casework and millwork experience
- 1 year or more experience managing work crews and jobsites in a similar industry
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record-free from multiple moving violations or DUIs
- High school diploma or equivalent
