Job Summary
This role involves measuring, cutting, and installing fiberglass insulation in various structures, ensuring compliance with building codes and energy efficiency standards. The installer will remove damaged materials, prepare work areas, and maintain records of materials used. Safety protocols must be strictly followed, including proper use of PPE. Physical demands include lifting heavy materials, climbing, and working in confined spaces. The position offers full-time employment with a compensation range based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Able to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces
- Able to bend, twist, and turn the body at the shoulders, waist, and knees
- Able to stand for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 certification
- Installation experience
- Comfortable using standard hand tools
