Job Summary
Install broadband and Wi-Fi services into park homes, lodges, and static caravans using wireless, FTTP, or Ethernet solutions. Mount external CPE, run internal cabling, configure routers, and activate services while ensuring optimal signal performance and compliance with health and safety standards. Diagnose connectivity issues across RF links and LAN environments, perform maintenance visits, and resolve faults within SLA targets. Act as the face of the business by explaining functionality, managing customer expectations, and securing sign-off. Complete installation records, photos, and test results via job management systems. Full UK driving licence required; UK-wide travel primarily to leisure parks in South West England.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of telecoms or ISP field installations (wireless or fixed line)
- Understanding of IP networking fundamentals
- Understanding of wireless technologies
- Practical installation skills (drilling, mounting, cabling)
- Customer-facing experience with good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with WiMAX / outdoor wireless deployments
- Experience in holiday park or MDUs (multi-dwelling units)
- Basic understanding of RF troubleshooting tools
- Certifications (e.g. ECS, Working at Height, IPAF – beneficial but not essential)
