Job Summary
Perform independent installation tasks including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and robot calibrations from integration through inspection. Troubleshoot system issues using diagnostic techniques and assist senior engineers with equipment testing. Coordinate with customers to ensure smooth operations and provide accurate reporting on status, hours, and non-conformances. Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs while adhering to security policies and quality standards. This role requires extensive travel across Europe, approximately 75% of working time, to support the installation of semiconductor production equipment in Germany, Ireland, France, and Italy. Full training is provided through mentoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree with technical background (mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar...)
- Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical issues during system installation
- Ability to communicate daily pass-downs and equipment status reports
- Project management skills to control installation project within budget, timeline and installation quality requirements
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good English communication skills both written and verbal
- Good Knowledge of the MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
- Extensive travelling throughout Europe (75% of the time, depending on overall activity requirements)
