Job Summary
Coordinate installation schedules, customer appointments, and contractor timelines while supporting scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of residential flooring projects. Communicate with installers, customers, and contractors to keep projects on track, resolve issues quickly, and maintain accurate project notes and customer records. Monitor inventory levels, assist with staging materials for crew loadouts, and support loading and unloading of trucks as needed. Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the project. This Tuesday-Saturday, 6am-2:30pm role requires physical activity including lifting up to 60 pounds and operating a motor vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of customer service or customer support experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, installers, contractors, and internal teams
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly when issues arise
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accurate records and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems
- A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Operating a motor vehicle
- Standing, walking, lifting, climbing, talking, and hearing
- Using hands to handle, grasp, or feel materials and equipment
- Reaching with hands and arms
- Lifting and moving materials weighing up to 60 pounds
- Close vision and the ability to clearly see objects at short distances
- Color vision and the ability to distinguish between colors
- Depth perception and the ability to judge distances and spatial relationships
- Ability to adjust focus and maintain visual clarity as needed throughout the workday
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, or project tracking software
- Forklift certification or prior forklift experience
