Installation & Commissioning Engineer

Job Summary
Install and commission a variety of industrial equipment at customer sites globally, performing internal testing at our Parma location when not on-site. Conduct tests to verify proper operation, diagnose and resolve problems, and train customers on the use of their new machinery. Ensure a clear transition to the Service team after the installation and commissioning period concludes. This role requires extensive travel (+70%) and a full driver's license, with candidates ideally based near Parma, Italy. You will act as an ambassador for Premier Tech Systems and Automation, helping maintain our reputation worldwide while improving customer production efficiency through innovative automated systems.
Required Qualifications
- Italian language skills
- English language skills (intermediate to advanced)
- Technical training in mechatronics industry
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the industrial packaging industry
- Ability to work with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic components
- Independent, self-motivated and committed to customer satisfaction mindset
- Passion for traveling
- Willingness to travel extensively (+70%)
- Full driver's license
- Based in the surroundings of Parma, Italy
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of PLCs (preferably Siemens)
