Job Summary
Assist installation and service technicians with system installations, troubleshooting, and documentation while supporting job execution and inventory tracking. Travel to various customer locations across Florida and South Georgia, including overnight stays as required, and participate in on-call rotations including weekends. Follow technician and supervisor instructions, perform other duties as assigned, and maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping. Requires physical capability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and work in environments with electrical hazards. This entry-level role develops technical skills for future field technicians under the supervision of the VP of IT.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Entry Level
- Strong interest in electronics or automation
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Knowledge of basic computer skills (internet, mobile devices, email software)
- Must have physical capability to lift and climb ladders
- Must follow all safety rules and wear proper PPE
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Installation and maintenance of low-voltage systems
- Customer service skills
- Team-oriented with ability to work independently
- Computer proficiency (internet, mobile devices, email software)
- Accurate documentation and recordkeeping
- Organizational and time management skills
- Must be available for travel to various customer locations across Florida and South Georgia, including overnight stays as required
