Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of the WMS Installations Team, assigning work through NYS-ITSM Service Requests and Incident tickets to ensure timely completion of operational, infrastructure, connectivity, and deployment-related activities supporting agency operations citywide. Provide leadership and operational oversight for agency infrastructure installations, enterprise printing support, workstation deployments, connectivity services, and technology implementation activities across the five boroughs. Administer and oversee WMS DNS infrastructure, including critical DNS servers supporting user authentication and enterprise printing services, while monitoring server integrity, availability, and operational performance. Manage the WMS hardware environment consisting of printers, ATS devices, workstations, and associated network equipment located throughout agency sites, coordinating installation, relocation, repair, replacement, and lifecycle management activities. Lead agency-wide infrastructure planning for relocations, office reconfigurations, restacking efforts, and new site buildouts by reviewing floorplans, validating infrastructure requirements, and ensuring all connectivity and operational needs are incorporated into project planning.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field
- Four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain
- An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field
- Six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- Eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the specified degree and experience combinations
