Job Summary
Install and maintain fiber for residential and commercial installations, perform MDU wiring, run fiber drops, configure ONT, conduct site surveys and labeling, perform testing, and document each job for NOC approval. Responsibilities include basic network troubleshooting on-site, supporting emergency maintenance and after-hours service tickets, maintaining vehicle inventory and tools, and upholding safety and quality standards while communicating with residents, property managers, and internal teams. Qualifications emphasize 3+ years in fiber/telecom, splicing and ONT skills, conduit and penetration techniques, willingness to work from ladders/rooftops, Jira/Smartsheet proficiency, and a valid driver’s license with OSHA-10 preferred. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in fiber, telecom, or structured cabling installation
- Proficient in light fiber splicing, ONT configuration, and power/signal testing
- Knowledge of fiber drop routing, conduit entry, and building penetration techniques
- Comfortable working from ladders, rooftops, and confined spaces
- Proficient with mobile FSM applications (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- OSHA-10 or equivalent safety certification preferred
