Job Summary
Perform installation or service work for automatic doors in a profitable and proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time and maintain accurate work records and parts logs at each job. Conduct preventive maintenance per designated service programs, test equipment before leaving the site, and perform safety checks. Keep updated on ANSI 156.10 standard changes and company equipment modifications. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and adequate parts inventory. Present a neat appearance and uphold good customer relations while assisting others in install/service methods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid state driver's license without restrictions
- Ability to lift 75-100lbs
- Excellent Oral & Written communication skills
- Ability to work in various climates
- Flexible work schedule is a must with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field
- Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field
- Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM Certification
