Job Summary
Perform installation or service work for automatic doors in a profitable and proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time and maintain accurate work records and parts logs at each job. Conduct preventive maintenance per designated service programs and test equipment before leaving the job site. Keep updated on ANSI 156.10 standard changes and maintain company vehicles and tools. Maintain good customer relations and assist others in install/service methods. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 75-100lbs. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is mandatory. $3,000 bonus available upon AAADM certification completion.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid state driver's license without restrictions
- Ability to lift 75-100lbs
- Excellent Oral & Written communication skills
- Ability to sit while driving for periods of time up to 2 hours
- Ability to stand on concrete for periods of time up to 8 hours
- Ability to stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, and twist spine occasionally
- Vision not limited to near, far or colors
- Ability to work in various climates
- Flexible work schedule with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field
- Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field
- Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints
- AAADM Certification
