Job Summary
Install Technician for interior window treatments responsible for scheduling and coordinating installations, conducting complex measurements for products (shutters, blinds, shades, drapery), receiving and verifying product condition, and professionally representing CDI and its retail partners. The role requires exceptional customer service, proven measuring skills, experience with Hunter Douglas products, installation of blinds/shades/drapery, strong organizational abilities, basic computer literacy, and possession or willingness to obtain necessary licenses and liability insurance. The installer works in-home, interfacing with customers, resolving issues, and ensuring quality installation and client satisfaction. Flexible schedule with bi-weekly payments and support from installation/product experts.
Required Qualifications
- Experience installing Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters
- Experience installing drapery and other soft treatments
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Experience and proven measuring skills
- Leaves positive and lasting impressions
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic computer skills; emails, printing, scanning, downloading/uploading to website
- Possess all applicable state and local licenses
- Willingness to obtain liability insurance
