Job Summary
Conduct daily gutter and protection system installations at customer sites within your assigned territory, ensuring jobs are completed daily to drive location attainment. Assist the Field Gutter Manager with onsite customer installations and gutter fabrication using provided equipment in varying field conditions. Follow established training processes and safety guidelines while providing excellent customer service. Travel occasionally for overnight assignments and work additional hours as needed. Maintain a valid driver's license and operate a box truck safely while ascending and descending ladders of varying heights.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of successful experience in home construction, remodeling, and/or gutter installation
- Must hold active and valid drivers license and be able to operate a box truck safely
- Must be comfortable ascending and descending ladders of varying heights to perform services
- Familiarity and comfort using ladders of various heights
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access)
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection
- Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co-worker or customer's needs at the forefront of every interaction
- Ability to communicate effectively, to recognize, understand, and manage one's own emotions as well as others, and foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Holding oneself responsible and being self-driven in accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies and being responsible for one's own actions, performance, and decisions
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be available for occasional overnight travel
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in gutter and/or gutter protection system installation, repair, or inspection is a plus
